Croatia Easter 23 with Vic & Tim

9th/10th April – Dubrovnik

11th Apr – Brela for affogato by the beach then sport climbing

12th Apr – Omis Sector A then a swim then coffee at the beach

13th Apr – Veliki Kabal 1,339m, Ljubima 1,330m & Ljubljan 1,262m.

14th Apr – Brela climb unto hailstorm. Then affogato then fish restaurant.

Went to the supermarket bar after shopping, as you do : )

15th Apr – Marjan (Split) very iffy grades (my grade in brackets) then beach party aka Jenny takes a dip, then a restaurant for cake and not soup (Dubrovnic is bad but crême brulée is worse).

16th Apr – tourists – wandered around Split gawping at Roman remains Dioclecian Palace (which was amazing); lunch in a square then to Krka National Park. I wasn’t over-keen to pay the €15 entry for a 2km boardwalk to see some waterfalls – but like everywhere else we’ve been in Croatia it was so well maintained and clean and thoughtfully presented/managed i was happy to invest.

17th Apr – Dinara DNF (1831m highest peak in Croatia) – turned back after lunch in the Martinova Kosara shelter at 1300m; due to high winds, low-vis and likely snow and worsening weather. Cetina Spring on the way back.

18th Apr – Omis via ferrata to fort then a swim in the sea at Duce beach

19th Apr – Iglusport (Boris Cujik’s climbing shop), chats with Steve Whitall, Klis, wander up the hill behind the house, posh meal then the Opera (La Traviata).

20th Apr – Took Jenny to check in hotel & Women in Tourism Conference that she is presenting at then Brela – no pics – then stopped over with Jenny at her (not 5☆ hotel)
